Nicotiana tabacum.
Annual, Open-pollinated.
A well known heirloom variety of smoking tobacco. It is a versatile tobacco commonly used for light cigarettes as well as pipe blends, has a sweet taste and cures to a very light gold leaf. It grows up to 2ft, and bears beautiful pinkish trumpet shaped flowers.
100 seeds per pack.
Days to maturity: 100-130
Seed starting:
Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in your region. The seeds are tiny! Scatter them on top of a compacted moist soil, and water them carefully (I like to mist them heavily with a spray bottle). The seed require light to germinate so don’t cover them up :). This is a sun plant - loves the sun and warmth. Germination takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Transplant outside in a sunny spot once all danger of frost has passed.
