Consolida, formerly Delphinium ajacis
Annual plant, open pollinated.
A very unique heirloom variety, great for spring cuttings. It has dusty purple petals that are reminiscent of a dream. I like to grow it alongside nigella for the dreamiest flowerscape.
Larkspur plants and seeds are poisonous for consumption.

Seed starting
Direct seed in your garden at a depth of 1/8inch, 2 to 3 weeks before the last frost in the spring (as soon as the soil can be worked).
