Compact plants that yield a mix of colours. Nasturtiums are elegant edible flowers that have a sweet peppery taste.

Seed starting

Start indoors 4 weeks before last frost, lightly covered, keeping the soil moist at all times. Once the true leaves emerge, pot up in bigger containers. Transplant outside once all danger of frost has passed.  OR Direct seed outside once all danger of frost has passed -this technique has worked wonderfully here on the farm. Less work, great results.
